Clean your camping equipment from toxic mould ready for your clean fresh air trip.

The cleaning routine for camping equipment needs to be as thourough as inside your home, otherwise, you may find you are camping inside a mould CAVE.  What do I mean? Camping equipment like everything that is outdoors will come into contact with dirt and dust that harbours mould and mould spores.  These will start to grow on your tents, tarpaulins, pots and pans etc if left unchecked. Typically, equipment is stored away for months giving time for the mould to incubate and take hold. If you are going to be sleeping inside a tent for several days, that has had an accumulation of mould, you will be sleeping and breathing in a concentration of mould.  There may be physical reactions to this.

Clean your tent and equipment with SAN-AIR before use following these steps:

  • Brush/vaccum all visible dirt off the outside and inside of tents
  • Using Surface Mould Remover, spray all equipment,  inside and outside for tents, leave for 15 minutes and then wipe away any mould and dirt. Use clean cloths, do not reuse dirty cloths. Repeat as necessary.
  • Finally, spray lightly, inside and out for tents, with Surface Mould Remover and let it air dry.
